Primary Care Physician Assistant

Woodbridge Medical Associates in partnership with Vanguard Health Solutions* is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our team of physicians.

Woodbridge Medical Associates is a private primary care practice that has been serving the Woodbridge community since 1954.

To be qualified for this position, you are required to have a master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program, a valid New Jersey Physician Assistant license, and prior post graduate Physician Assistant experience.

Your schedule will be Monday to Friday with rotating evening and weekend on-call phone coverage. We offer a competitive salary, and a benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance, malpractice insurance, 401(k), and a continuing education expense.

Physician Assistant license Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
• Prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.

Physician Assistant Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant license program.
• Valid New Jersey Physician Assistant license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Two years post graduate experience in a Primary Care practice.
• Will consider a recent graduate with prior professional experience in a Primary Care practice as a Scribe or MA
