Orthopedic Physician Assistant opportunity in Central New Jersey with Surgeon specializing in Total Hip and Knee Replacement. Work one on one with Surgeon in Clinic and OR. (more OR time than clinic). Forget the stress of working with multiple Surgeons, all with a different style. Experienced Ortho PA encouraged to interview. Motivated new graduates that desire fast pace and show drive will be trained.
About the Orthopedic Physician Assistant opportunity
- 2 days of Clinic and 3 days of OR each week
- Ambulatory Surgical Center and same day discharge
- Great team with Surgeon, PA, RN, Scheduler, and Medical Assistant
- Primary, complex, and total joint Revisions
- Surgeon projects over 600 cases this year
- NO trauma call
- Clinic hours are 8-5
- OR start 6:30 or 7 am
- EMR is Modernizing Medicine
- General Ortho call every 6th weekend with extra pay
- 4 call days each month with extra pay
- Office locations are Edison, Freehold, Manahawkin
Requirements of the Orthopedic Physician Assistant opportunity
- Graduate with Master’s Degree
- National Certification
- New Jersey State Medical License
- DEA number
- Thrive in busy and growing environment
- CT and MRI understanding
- Proven passion for Operating Room time/First Assist experience

- Base Salary $135,000-150,000
- Bonus- productivity share (depends on number of cases each year).
