Urgent Care Physician Assistant Position Available!
Our busy urgent care located in Brick, is looking for a qualified Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate is comfortable seeing patients of all age groups, is able to multi-task and works well under pressure. Our staff is all experienced in Emergency Medicine and provides a wide range of urgent care services.
Our center is UCAOA Accredited, open 365 days a year and offer X-Ray, EKG and point of care lab testing on site.
MUST have Urgent Care and/or Emergency Medicine Experience!
JOB DESCRIPTION:Ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of minor illnesses and injuriesEvaluation and treatment of the occupational medicine patientAssessment and treatment of the pediatric patient with minor illnessesFollow basic clinical care standards and practice evidence-based medicineOrthopedic injury managementComplete chart documentation using an EMRPrescribe medicationsConsult with the physician on call in the event of complex medical cases and when patients may need referral to a specialist or the emergency department
Requirements:Licensed to practice in NJMultiple years experience in urgent care or emergency medicineEKG and X-ray reading abilitySuturing, splinting, I&D and other procedural skillsComfortable with the evaluation and management of all age groupsExcellent bedside manner, customer satisfaction skills and solid clinical judgmentBLS/ACLS/PALS certified
