This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with patients in an on-site environment within the thriving medical practice industry.

In this role, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be involved in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of neurological conditions, contributing to vital patient care initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
  • Assist in critical care procedures and interventions as needed
  • Participate in rounds and case discussions with the healthcare team
  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in neurology and critical care

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
  • Current NP or PA license in the state of practice
  • Experience in critical care or neurology preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Patient Volume: 8 per day, 2 admissions

11-bed Neuro ICU

Must be comfortable with independent line placements

Must be board-certified
