Location: Central New Jersey (Convenient to Princeton, Edison, and surrounding areas)
Setting: Multi-Specialty Group. Join a premier, physician-led multispecialty group as we expand our Cardiovascular division. We are seeking a highly motivated and clinically proficient Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide comprehensive outpatient care to our cardiology patient population. In this role, you will work closely with board-certified cardiologists to manage a range of conditions, from preventative heart health to chronic disease management.
The Role & Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Conduct independent patient assessments, follow-ups, and pre-/post-procedural evaluations for cardiovascular patients.
- Diagnostics: Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including expert-level EKG analysis, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with an integrated team of specialists (Imaging, Vascular, Primary Care) to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients on lipid management, hypertension, anticoagulation, and lifestyle modifications.
- Administrative: Document findings accurately in our EMR and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree from an ARC-PA accredited program.
- Certification: Current NCCPA Board Certification (PA-C).
- Licensure: Active (or eligible for) New Jersey Physician Assistant License, DEA, and CDS.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred; however, highly motivated new graduates with a strong cardiology rotation are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in EKG interpretation and familiarity with cardiac-specific EMR workflows.
