Neurosurgeons of NJ based in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking to add a Per Diem Physician Assistant to their team of Physician Assistants. This is a great position for someone seeking per diem work who has flexibility in their schedule. Shift hours are 7am-7pm weekday, 7-4 on weekends. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 weekend shifts every 4 weeks, and open to pick up 2-3 other weekdays when available for vacation coverage of full time PAs
Work along-side thoughtful, experienced neurosurgeons in the hospital and operating room. Orientation/training offered. Enjoy graduated autonomy throughout all aspects of highly-specialized patient care: providing surgical consultations, ordering/interpreting imaging of the brain and spine, and pre-/post-operative care.
You can expect great personal and professional growth as you develop meaningful relationships with patients, families, and other medical professionals while treating challenging diseases. New hires will receive training with PAs and Physicians.
Requirements: NJ PA License with at least 1 year of PA experience in a neurosurgery or Neurocritical care. Must have CDS, DEA, CPR and be able to be credentialed by hospital system.

Malpractice insurance will be provided. DEA, State License, CDS, etc, responsibility of the applicant.
