Full Job Description

A well established urology practice in Neptune, New Jersey is looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. The group specializes in comprehensive urologic care and fosters a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. The provider will work closely with urologists and the care team to provide exceptional, patient-focused care. This role is primarily outpatient with some inpatient rounding responsibilities and minimal call requirements, offering an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urological conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Assist in urologic procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.
  • Conduct inpatient rounding and coordinate care for hospitalized patients as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience in urology preferred but not required; the practice is open to training motivated candidates.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
