Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care through clinical assessments, procedures, and collaborative treatment planning with supervising physician
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including history-taking, physical examinations, vital signs, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage acute and some chronic conditions in an urgent care setting
- Order and may also be expected to perform basic diagnostic testing as appropriate in order to assist patient flow
- Perform procedures including suturing, injections, phlebotomy, IV fluids, abscess drainage
- Prescribe medications within scope of your license
- Utilize EMR systems for documentation of patient encounters, medication administration, CPT/ICD coding, and data management.
- Practice evidence based medicine
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques during all patient interactions.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure with current certification.
- Proven experience in emergency medicine, ICU or outpatient clinics with familiarity in urgent care medicine.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Ability to handle diverse clinical scenarios including acute pain management, infectious disease care, geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards across all practice settings. Pay/Benefits
- Based on experience, highly competitive

Schedule
- 12 hours shifts Monday – Friday (8:00am – 7:30pm)
- 7 hours shifts Saturday – Sunday (9am – 4pm)
- All Holidays (9am – 5pm but subject to change)
- Flexible scheduling available
Commute
- Ability to commute to 1 location (in person)
Experience
- EMR system (not required but preferred)
- Advanced Practice Provider (not required but preferred)
- Prior experience in emergency medicine/urgent care is preferred but willing to train new graduate with ER rotation experience (will be started as PA/NP Urgent Care fellow)
License/Certification
- Must have passed national boards and hold an un-restricted license to practice in New Jersey
- Must have CDS/DEA License (active)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
