OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across various medical conditions.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Perform medical procedures with a focus on aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, including inhalation therapies when necessary.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation and coding of patient encounters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in medical-surgical settings to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in healthcare practices.

Experience

• A degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Minimum two years previous experience in patient care settings required.
• Proficiency in data collection methods and coding practices is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of care while adhering to ethical guidelines.

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
