Are you a skilled and motivated Surgical Physician Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in the field of Orthopaedics? Join our dynamic and esteemed orthopaedic practice, serving patients in both New Jersey and New York. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Surgical Physician Assistant.

[Responsibilities]:

  • Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care in both surgical and non-surgical settings.
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative support, and postoperative care.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans under the supervision of the attending physician.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and MRIs.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical procedures, and postoperative care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery and treatment techniques.

[Requirements]:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in both New Jersey and New York.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical orthopaedics (new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgical procedures and postoperative care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate patient care and commitment to patient satisfaction.
