Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their life stages, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and gynecological conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, a thorough understanding of women’s health issues, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs.
  • Manage prenatal care, including routine check-ups, screenings, and ultrasounds.
  • Perform gynecological examinations and procedures, including but not limited to Pap smears, biopsies, and colposcopies.
  • Provide care during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety of both mother and child.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in managing high-risk pregnancies and critical care situations.
  • Participate in clinical trials to advance women’s health research.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize infection risks.
  • Triage patients effectively in emergency situations to prioritize care based on severity.
  • Offer outpatient services for various gynecological issues, including hormonal therapies and contraceptive counseling.
  • Monitor neonatal patients using neonatal ventilators when necessary.

Experience

  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • Experience working in a Level II trauma center is preferred.
  • Proficiency in emergency medicine practices related to obstetrics and gynecology is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with spinal tap procedures is a plus.
  • Previous involvement in clinical trials or research initiatives related to women’s health is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment and critical care management are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $178,111.00 – $203,835.00 per year
