We are hiring a Locum NeuroCrit Care PA/NP/RNFA to join our team in the Hoboken, NJ area for coverage through September 2025. This role involves This role will mostly be hospital consults with a rare OR case. The ideal candidate will have experience in Neurosurgery, trauma, and/or critical care management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Description of Work Assignment Evaluate and manager neurosurgical patients, including responding to trauma cases, code stroke, and Neuro IR emergencies.
- Act as the neurosurgical liaison, assessing new and established patients and communicating with the on-call neurosurgeon.
- provide patient care in the SICU, participate in rounds, and collaborate with intensivists.
- Assist in neurosurgical procedures and rare OR cases as needed.
- Perform advanced procedures such as: central line insertion, dialysis catheter, arterial line insertion, closed tube thoracotomy, incision and drainage of abscesses. superficial tissue biopsies, external ventriculostomy drain management.
Start Date: As soon as credentialed!
End Date: September 2025, with option to extend if good fit mutual.
This position is offering full-time 40 hours a week, with either a 5-8’s or 4-10’s schedule. 8-14 patients per day and no call! Temp/emergency privileges available.
Required:
- Active NJ Physician Assistant Licenses or LOQ for IMLC
- NCCPA Certified
- Minimum of 2 years Neurosurgery or Critical Care Experience required
