Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing various medical procedures. The Physician Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories from patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate management plans.
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, medical imaging, and infection control measures as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians in developing treatment plans and follow-up care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in medical practices, particularly in geriatrics and acute pain management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic or similar platforms.
- Experience or interest in geriatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of infection control protocols within a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $63.00 – $68.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
