Full Job Description
Thrive Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team! The provider that’s right for the job will assist in the care of individuals admitted into our program for MAT treatment (methadone and buprenorphine) and will provide necessary follow-up care. The ideal individual will enjoy early morning hours and a part-time schedule!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– History and physical examinations including verification of addiction.
– Collaborates with physician on appropriateness of each new admission into the program.
– Coordinate care with patient(s) primary care physician and sub-specialty consultants in regards to additional diagnoses and prescribed medications.
– Provides oversight and guidance to nurse(s) as necessary. May assist phlebotomy for patients with difficult venipuncture.
– Meets with active patients, as needed, to discuss patient medical concerns and make referrals as appropriate.
– ∙Review patients with abnormal laboratory findings and provide recommendations or make referrals as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
- DEA registration
Preferred Qualifications/Training:
- Specialized training in addiction medicine preferred
- DATA 2000/Buprenorphine Waiver
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $53.00 – $69.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
