OB/GYN Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant Job Summary
NJ Best Obgyn has openings for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Midwife, or Physician’s Assistant. New hire will be responsible for providing mainly Obstetric and Gynecological care in an OB/GYN office. They will work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. Also performs physical examinations, confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others to assure smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. Other job duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Health management during pregnancy- full scope of prenatal care including, preconception care, prenatal care and post pregnancy care.
- Wellness Woman exams
- Breast Cancer screening and problem evaluation
- Pap smears, HPV screening
- Consults with supervising physician or other clinicians as dictated by patient need and assessment findings.
- Participates with physicians and other clinicians in the department to assure effective patient care consistent with quality indicators for patients cared for in the designated service.
- Reviews medical record for follow up or ordering of diagnostic studies under established protocols.
- Establishes effective working relationships with members of the health care team, patients, and families.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and applies safety principles as identified by the practice.
- Demonstrates a service philosophy in all interactions with patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Masters in Nursing (NP), or PA completion certification or Midwifery and current NJ license
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
