Full Job Description
Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine Associates, a locally owned private practice, is expanding our team. Responsibilities
- Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations, updating, and studying medical histories.
- Practices using current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
- Documents patient care services by charting in EMR (Allscripts)
- Performs comprehensive or episodic health assessment of patients/families with acute and/or chronic health problems with an emphasis on wellness. Preserves and promotes good health through education and counseling patients in positive health behaviors, self-care, and coping skills.
- Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations.
- Renders patient care with high degree of service excellence, which will be measured by pre-determined targets.
- Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; counseling and managing chronic conditions; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Training and Experience Requirements:
- A Master’s degree and certification by Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body is required. Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
- Clinical experience in an primary care, adult medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
