Addiction Medicine, Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Seeking full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with previous addiction experience in MAT and the treatment of substance use disorders (SUD). This position is a full-time position, 7 days on and 7 days off. There is the opportunity to pick up additional overtime hours as desired. Additional scheduling options include working 7 shifts every 2 weeks, including alternating weekends.
The field of addiction medicine is growing and this position will enable you to gain experience providing wide-ranging treatment in the area of addiction medicine, including MAT, as a member of our inpatient and outpatient detoxification and rehabilitation team.
The right candidate will have an opportunity to work with a committed team of professionals to provide linkage and increased access to evidence-based SUD treatments.
Buprenorphine experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting is preferred. Inpatient and/or outpatient detoxification/rehabilitation is preferred.
Highlights include:
- Assessment and management of candidates presenting with substance use disorders.
- Coordinate patients’ progress and treatment plans with an active multi-disciplinary team including counselors, nursing, and psychiatrists.
- Evaluate patients for medication-assisted treatments, working collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
- Acquire knowledge of the most up-to-date evidence-based practices in the field.
