Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, performing physical examinations, assisting with medical procedures, and providing education and support to patients and their families. Duties: – Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests – Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans – Perform various medical procedures, such as IV infusions and airway management – Provide education and counseling to patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options – Assist in the management of acute and chronic illnesses – Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans – Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems like Cerner – Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care – Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, research, and best practices in the field Qualifications: – Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program – Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) – State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant – Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology – Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred – Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Cerner – Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations – Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Benefits: – Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications – Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and retirement plan options – Paid time off for vacation, sick leave, and holidays We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
