A Physician Assistant, or PA, is a medical professional in charge of examining, diagnosing and treating patients with the guidance of a Medical Doctor. Their duties include prescribing medications to cure illness, recording patient vital signs and running diagnostic tests to determine the source of the patient’s symptoms.
- Providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and making initial diagnoses.
- Counseling patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- prescribing medications and performing certain medical procedures within their scope of practice.
- Assisting in surgery and other invasive procedures as needed.
- coordinating with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Pay: $75.00 – $77.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
- PA-C (Preferred)
- Physician Assistant License (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Queens, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
