We are in search of the next talented, and dynamic Infectious disease Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Nanuet, NY and be a part of our Family!
- Perform initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
- Initiate, document, and communicate the plan of care for patients with chronic and acute infectious disease conditions.
- Performs patient rounds.
- Confers with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and/or other care providers
- orders medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Interpret laboratory and test results.
- Provide education patients and care mangers on preventive care measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record system
Requirements
- Active NY State NP/PA
- Active DEA
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a infectious disease NP/PA
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $650.00 – $750.00 per day
Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
