OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or physician assistant (mandarin speaker preferred) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including emergency and outpatient environments. This role requires a strong foundation in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Manage patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Operating Room (OR) settings.
- Provide family planning services and education to patients.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in occupational health assessments and interventions.
- Perform suturing and other minor procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
- Strong understanding of family planning practices and occupational health principles.
- Ability to perform suturing and manage minor surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
