Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant: University Neurology Incorporated (UNI) dba UBMD Neurology is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center (ADMDC) clinic. This clinic is a NYS Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease focusing on multidisciplinary patient care, educational and research activities. The ADMDC has been a center of clinical and academic excellence since 2010, and has a mission that includes meeting the health-care needs of patients with cognitive issues, advancing knowledge through research in the clinical and basic neurosciences. The ADMDC has a clinic located on Main Street in Williamsville and at the Conventus Medical Office Building on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus in downtown Buffalo.
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will join a team of neurologists, neuropsychologists, RNs and social workers to provide patient care with time split between the two (2) clinic locations. Each case is discussed at the consensus diagnostic conference which provides an excellent training opportunity.
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will manage patients in the clinic, conduct examinations, provide full spectrum care for patients affected with cognitive impairment and participate in Consensus Conference.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a valid New York State license. Experience with the geriatric population and/or cognitive disorders is strongly preferred. Excellent communication, multi-tasking and critical/analytical thinking abilities required.

Pay: $105,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
