Physician Assistant (Gastroenterology) – Part-Time (1 Day/Week)
A busy Brooklyn Gastroenterology practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team one day per week in our outpatient office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys learning and wants to develop strong clinical skills in Gastroenterology while working closely with an experienced physician.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and manage common (“bread and butter”) outpatient GI conditions, including GERD, constipation, IBS, abdominal pain, diarrhea, rectal bleeding, and fatty liver disease.
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
- Review laboratory studies, imaging, pathology, and endoscopy results.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, diet, and preventive care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR.

Requirements:
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license (or eligible).
- NCCPA Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for patient care and a desire to learn.
Pay: $80.00 – $95.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
