Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation of N.Y., P.C. provides a broad range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities to our patients. Our four offices located in the Rego Park, Bushwick, North Bronx, and South Bronx provide an extensive set of services with specialties including: Outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Fluoroscopically guided procedures, Ultrasound guided injections, and Electrodiagostic studies. Each of our offices are committed to exceptional patient care. We pride ourselves on having a friendly and knowledgeable staff, including medical doctors, physical therapists and medical technicians.
The Physician Assistant will work under the supervision of the Physician or Surgeon but may work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. To be a successful Physician Assistant, you should be formally educated to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule: Hours may vary between 8:00am-6:00pm
*This position will require travel between our Bushwick, Brooklyn location and our Bronx locations*
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patient care
- Coordination and direct quality of care between physicians and specialists
- Provide continuity of patient care and plan of care
- Physical exam- Physical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
- Patient education
- Document encounter in detail
- Prescribe medication
- Pleasant bedside manner
- New and follow up patient evaluations
- Document comprehensive medical histories
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Collaborate and Assist practice physician on daily schedule

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
