Medical Associates of New England, a reputable primary care office with a full-time physician and physician assistant (PA), is currently seeking a motivated physician assistant to join our dynamic team. As a full-time PA at our practice, you will have ample opportunities for professional development, including participation in CME opportunities, webinars, grand rounds, case reviews, and inpatient rounding.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct clinical care in an internal medicine practice with a patient-centered approach.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR), preferably eClinicalWorks (eCW), for efficient documentation and information sharing.
- Conduct same-day sick visits to promptly address urgent medical needs.
- Perform annual wellness visits, emphasizing preventive care and developing personalized health plans.
- Manage acute care cases effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Demonstrate expertise in chronic disease management, following evidence-based guidelines for optimal patient outcomes.
Education:
- Physician Assistant (PA):
- Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure
- Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
