Position: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or ENP-C) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Your Role:

  • Expert Care: Diagnose and treat common urgent care complaints with expertise.
  • Hands-On Skills: Perform suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage procedures.
  • Diagnostic Precision: Conduct initial interpretations of digital X-rays.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure: You must hold a current, unrestricted license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state where this job will be performed. If you do not currently hold a license, you must be in the process of obtaining one.
  • Education: A Master’s degree is required, either from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing program.
  • Certification:
    • If you are a Nurse Practitioner, you must be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
    • If you are a physician assistant, you must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • CPR Certification: You must have current CPR certification, or be willing to obtain it prior to your start date.
  • DOT Certification: You need to have DOT certification, or be able to obtain it within the first 60 days of employment.
