Summary
As a Physician Assistant at Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical trials. This position is responsible for ensuring investigations are conducted according to signed investigator statement, protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP;s), Good Clinical Practices (GCP’s) and FDA regulations. Ensures subject and study sponsors in design, implementation, conduct and reporting of research studies.
Responsibilities
- Reviews study protocols
- Performs Physical Exams according to study protocols and SOP’s.
- Reviews Laboratory values and charts to determine subject eligibility.
- Ensures compliance to external regulatory agency standards
- completes Case Report Forms
- Obtains Informed Consent from study Patients.
- Obtains Medical Histories from study Patients.
- Completes Patient Assessments according to Protocol.
- Assists with the training of clinical staff.
- Attends dosing of studies as necessary.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (M.A) or equivalent; or four to ten years related research experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in conducting or supporting clinical trials is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Licensing/Certification Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant license
- Current CPR certification is required
