Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role involves assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, and implementing treatment plans while ensuring adherence to infection control standards and best practices.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as spinal taps and suturing.
- Provide outpatient care for various conditions, including infectious diseases.
- Collect and analyze data to assist in the development of treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians in a teaching hospital environment to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols during all patient interactions.
Skills
- Proficient in infection control practices and infectious disease care.
- Experience with neonatal ventilators is a plus.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis for effective patient management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to various specialties.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient setting while managing multiple priorities.

Pay: $94,043.54 – $113,256.73 per year
