Position Overview:
Synergy Spine and Orthopedics and the LimbplastX Institute, led by renowned Harvard-trained orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kevin Debiparshad, is seeking a highly motivated, licensed/certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work alongside a nationally recognized leader in cosmetic orthopedic surgery and spine care.
The ideal candidate may be newly certified or bring prior experience in orthopedic surgery and/or primary care. You will assist in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both clinical and surgical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Dr. Debiparshad in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic and limb-lengthening patients
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and document patient histories
- Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Manage routine follow-ups, wound care, and post-surgical evaluations
- Provide patient education on surgical procedures, rehabilitation protocols, and medications
- Coordinate care plans in collaboration with physical therapy and rehabilitation teams
- Complete documentation in EMR system in a timely and accurate manner
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate under physician supervision
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient case reviews
- Support administrative and clinical efficiency, helping streamline patient flow and enhance the patient experience
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
- Active Nevada PA license or eligibility to obtain one
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Strong interest in orthopedics, spine care, or cosmetic limb-lengthening procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient care excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in orthopedics or primary care (new grads encouraged to apply)
- Experience assisting in surgical procedures and working with post-op patients
- Bilingual a plus (Mandarin, Spanish, or other languages)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $105,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
