Full Job Description

Position Overview:

Synergy Spine and Orthopedics and the LimbplastX Institute, led by renowned Harvard-trained orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kevin Debiparshad, is seeking a highly motivated, licensed/certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work alongside a nationally recognized leader in cosmetic orthopedic surgery and spine care.

The ideal candidate may be newly certified or bring prior experience in orthopedic surgery and/or primary care. You will assist in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both clinical and surgical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Dr. Debiparshad in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic and limb-lengthening patients
  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and document patient histories
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  • Manage routine follow-ups, wound care, and post-surgical evaluations
  • Provide patient education on surgical procedures, rehabilitation protocols, and medications
  • Coordinate care plans in collaboration with physical therapy and rehabilitation teams
  • Complete documentation in EMR system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate under physician supervision
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient case reviews
  • Support administrative and clinical efficiency, helping streamline patient flow and enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
  • Active Nevada PA license or eligibility to obtain one
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong interest in orthopedics, spine care, or cosmetic limb-lengthening procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient care excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in orthopedics or primary care (new grads encouraged to apply)
  • Experience assisting in surgical procedures and working with post-op patients
  • Bilingual a plus (Mandarin, Spanish, or other languages)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $105,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
