Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring adherence to medical protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, internal medicine, and outpatient care practices. The Physician Assistant will work closely with patients in various settings, including clinical trials, and will be responsible for performing essential procedures such as phlebotomy and gastric lavage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform outpatient procedures including but not limited to triage, phlebotomizing, and administering dermal fillers.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Participate in clinical trials by recruiting participants and monitoring their progress.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or equivalent program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and valid state licensure.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of internal medicine practices.
• Experience in outpatient settings is preferred; familiarity with triage processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of clinical trial protocols is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Pay: $117,080.00 – $126,252.00 per year
