ENDOCRINOLOGY & PODIATRY
DUTIES– Perform comprehensive physical examinations on patients- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Provide counseling and education to patients on preventive healthcare measures- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care- Perform minor procedures, such as suturing wounds or removing skin lesions- Monitor and manage patients with chronic conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension
REQUIREMENTS
– Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of NEVADA- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field- Proficient in performing dialysis procedures- Experience in esthetic laser treatments is a plus- Knowledge of discharge planning processes- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures- Ability to provide specialized care for senior patients- Strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy- Knowledge of radiation therapy techniques- Proficient in performing spinal taps (lumbar punctures)- Experience in conducting medical research is desirable- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
