Job title: Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our interventional radiologists to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of radiology techniques and the ability to assist in a variety of interventional procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist interventional radiologists in performing procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, and biopsies.
2. Evaluate and assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
3. Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
5. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
7. Stay current on advancements in interventional radiology techniques and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
2. Current PA license and certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of radiology imaging modalities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
