Location: Henderson, NVPractice Type: Well-established Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine Office

Job Summary

We are a well-established pulmonology practice in Henderson, NV seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with prior experience in Pulmonology and/or Sleep Medicine to work closely alongside our physician/owner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-focused practice dedicated to high-quality respiratory care.

The ideal candidate will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of pulmonary and respiratory conditions while providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of lung and respiratory conditions, including asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, emphysema, COPD, lung cancer, and other pulmonary disorders
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, blood gases, and pulmonary function tests (PFTs)
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with patient needs and under physician supervision
  • Provide patient education on pulmonary health, smoking cessation, and chronic disease management
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement optimal treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient medical records
  • Stay current with advances in pulmonology through continuing education and professional development

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current licensure as a PA or NP in the state of Nevada (or ability to obtain)
  • Prior experience in Pulmonology and/or Sleep Medicine preferred
  • Proficiency in pulmonary diagnostic procedures and chronic disease management
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $350,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
