Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management across diverse patient populations. This role involves working in outpatient and inpatient settings, utilizing advanced EMR systems, and collaborating with specialists to deliver high-quality healthcare.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and diagnostic tests such as ultrasound or radiography.
- Assist in procedures such as suturing, gynecological exams, and basic dermatology procedures.
- Make referrals to specialists as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records adhering to HIPAA regulations while managing ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for billing purposes
- Provide health coaching on topics such as family planning, nutrition, geriatrics, and senior care.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification to practice in the state of Nevada
- Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks; telehealth experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation methods
- Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for documentation and billing purposes
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinics settings while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills

Pay: $75,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
