Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice Clinic

Innovative Community Health Institute LLC

Family Practice Clinic is seeking an experienced detail-oriented, patient friendly Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for our Lincoln, NE and Crete, NE clinics. This position is a full-time position with competitive pay. Experience is required.

Our clinic hours are Mondays-Friday with rotating Saturday morning, approximately once a month.

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. You will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals and families in our community.

Responsibilities– Conduct physical examinations and health assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Prescribe medications and treatments- Provide preventive care, including immunizations and screenings- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques- Perform minor procedures, such as wound suturing and lesion removal- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements– ** Must have graduated from a physician assistant or nurse practitioners’ program by Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or its predecessors.

– Experience in primary care or family medicine is highly preferred.- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and diagnosing common acute and chronic conditions

– Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes- Ability to perform specimen collection processing- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a healthcare team

– Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
