Doctors of Children – Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Doctors of Children is seeking a board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner on a full-time or part-time basis to join our team. We are dedicated to providing high quality medical care in a friendly, fun, comfortable atmosphere. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, dedicated individual who loves working with children, adolescents and their families. Our hours are Monday – Friday, with rotating Saturday morning, approximately once/month.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Perform wellness examinations
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Required Skills and Qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Be able to relate effectively and professionally with employees and patients
- Be able to build rapport with patients
- Be able to take initiative
- PA or NP licensure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
