Full Job Description
Job Summary
- Responsible for storing, moving, receiving, shipping and handling both hazardous and non-hazardous materials using powered and non-powered material handling devices.
- Completes warehouse inventory transactions including warehouse transfers, PO receiving, shipment staging and Cycle counts.
- Ensures materials are packaged, labelled, prepped and shipped on time and in accordance with regulatory, company, and customer requirements
Job Description
- Conducts safe operation of material handling devices including but not limited to stretch film machines, Forklifts, pallet jacks, and Reach trucks.
- Uses pick tickets to pull, prep, stage and load materials for shipment, ensuring that all pick ticket instructions are followed.
- Ensures all packages picked for shipment are properly labelled, marked, and palletized as required, paying special attention to regulatory requirements and any special customer requests.
- Performs receiving duties including truck and trailer unloading, palletizing, storing of materials in designated bin locations, verifying and completing receiving paperwork and documents
- Conduct routine checks of material handling equipment and work areas, ensuring that equipment is in good working order and good housekeeping practices are being followed
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete training in all applicable regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, and/or Site Management.
Decision Making:
- Must be able to make decisions concerning process and regulatory standards to ensure compliance.
- Time management decisions related to multitasking to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Job Requirements
- Entry level with 1 year of Warehouse /material handling experience is preferred.
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete regulatory training within designated timeframe.
- Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations
