Full Job Description
Duties- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and therapies.- Perform procedures such as suturing, casting, and wound care.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic.- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.- Assist in the triage of patients, ensuring timely access to appropriate levels of care.
Requirements
– Be able to work independently( under indirect supervision);
-Be licensed as an NP or PA in the state of North Carolina- Valid physician assistant license in [state].
– Appreciate the good the bad and the ugly of urgent care setting;
-Promote teamwork between clinical and administrative staff.- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, systems, and procedures.- Proficiency in airway management techniques and emergency medicine protocols.- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.- Experience in performing procedures such as dermatological procedures (e.g., dermabrasion) or cardiac catheterization is a plus.

Pay: $98,574.58 – $144,000.00 per year
