Full Job Description
- Providing detailed information to patients regarding treatments, possible side effects, aftercare instructions, aftercare maintenance, or preventative care methods
- Ensuring complete and accurate documentation of patient information and treatments for patient charts and medical records
- Vaccinating patients to prevent or treat diseases
- Initiating health care treatment for health care management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medication
- Communicating and collaborating with patients and their families about treatments, health diagnoses, self-care, and prevention
- Collaborating with other interdisciplinary health care professionals
- Leading and working with a team
- Identifying and responding to legal or ethical issues that could arise during patient care
