Dental Assistant/ Receptionist
Duties:- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the dental facility- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team member- Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments -Create insurance predeterminations- Maintain patient records and update necessary information- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents- Ensure a clean and organized reception area -Dental assistant must be able to maintain clean fully stocked operatories, take legible radiographs and demonstrate competency in assisting in different general dentistry procedures. Coronal Polishing certification a plus.
Skills:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment. The ability to remain calm under pressure and provide excellent customer service is essential.
