Full Job Description
Flexible Contract Opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant. Join an established and growing outpatient mental health practice providing medication management and psychiatric care in-person and/or telehealth with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
Outpatient Mental Health practice focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health care for individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral health concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Provide medication management and follow-up care
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other providers as needed
- Support patients through compassionate, evidence-based care
Experience:
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Licensed Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active and unrestricted license in North Carolina
- DEA license and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred Experience:
- Telehealth or outpatient mental health experience
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems
- Experience treating a diverse patient population

Pay: $95.00 – $125.00 per hour
