Child Advocacy Center Clinic Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
CrossRoads: Sexual Assault Response & Resource Center, Inc. is a nationally accreditated Child Advocacy Center. We are currently seeking a CAC Clinic Physician to join our team in Burlington, NC.
As a Clinic Physician, you will be responsible for providing thorough child medical exams and follow-up for possible victims of child maltreatment. This includes but is not limited to: conducting child maltreatment exams, collaborating with, and training other healthcare professionals, MDT members, and CrossRoads staff, and attending and presenting at the multidisciplinary team’s meetings. Other duties may include:
- Basic management of the CrossRoads CMEC.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly statistical and program reports
- Responsible for completing the NC CMEP form for all initial child medical exams
Experience:
- College degree in a relevant field.
- Licensed MD, PNP, FNP, or PA
- Clinical experience with children and/or child maltreatment is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child maltreatment and violence issues.
- Ability to work with, and relate to, diverse populations.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 – $85.00 per hour
