Primary Care PA or FNP – Billings, Montana
Primary care practice in Billings, Montana, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services across the lifespan, emphasizing prevention, chronic disease management, and continuity of care. About the Position
- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform physical exams, preventive screenings, and wellness visits.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
- Develop patient-centered care plans and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Montana state regulations.
- Perform minor in-office procedures (based on training and comfort).
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with supervising physician and care team members.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
Qualifications
- Licensed PA-C or APRN (FNP) in the state of Montana.
- National certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC).
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Primary care experience preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems and evidence-based decision-making.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and patient engagement skills
Schedule
- 4 days per week 7:30AM – 5:30PM
- Night call one week per month (negotiable)
