Performance Therapy Pediatrics is dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based care. Our team partners with families to support children with developmental delays, injuries, and neuromuscular conditions in a fun, encouraging, and family-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice physical therapy.
- Experience with pediatric populations preferred; new graduates with strong interest in pediatrics encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Genuine passion for working with children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate pediatric patients to determine functional abilities, limitations, and treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall function.
- Provide therapy in a play-based, engaging environment that promotes participation and progress.
- Educate and collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with state, federal, and insurance regulations.
- Stay current on the latest pediatric therapy techniques, research, and best practices.
