Full Job Description

Northland Speech and Language Therapy is seeking an excellent Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a therapist-owned, thriving, pediatric private practice in Liberty, Missouri.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Missouri License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Evidence of successful experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Minimum of 3 years pediatric experience post CF.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of awesome SLPs
  • Quick learner who has good basic computer skills for electronic documentation, using online therapy resources, and providing teletherapy as needed
  • Fun, caring, and supportive therapist who engages children of all ages and ability levels in therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Clear, but compassionate communicator who feels comfortable speaking with parents about their child’s communication abilities, areas of need, treatment goals, and progress
  • Early childhood evaluation and therapy experience and a desire to do play-based therapy. Experience with Gestalt Language Processing is a plus!
  • Experience with identifying and teaching functional AAC strategies for children with limited spoken language, including basic sign language, picture communication, and speech generating devices

Work Schedule:

  • Earn a competitive, full-time salary with regular bonuses working Monday-Thursday
  • Compensation is based on experience and number of patient visits per week
  • Dedicated time for documentation is built into your daily schedule
