Overview:We are seeking a Skilled Crown and Bridge Technician with experience in dental design and proficiency in Exocad & Design software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental fabrication, laboratory procedures, and digital design techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of precise, high-quality dental restorations while working closely with dental professionals to enhance patient outcomes. The technician will be responsible for fabricating crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic devices with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring optimal fit, function, and aesthetics.

***Pay Based on Experience***

Duties:

  • Utilize Exocad software to design detailed and accurate crowns, bridges, and other dental prostheses based on clinical specifications. Digitally design crowns.
  • Fabricate dental restorations using advanced laboratory techniques and materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to interpret clinical data, impressions, and digital scans for precise restoration fabrication.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all design processes, materials used, and fabrication steps in compliance with medical records protocols.
  • Implement infection control procedures and aseptic techniques during all stages of laboratory work to ensure patient safety.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished restorations using precision tools such as micrometers to verify dimensions and fit.
  • Stay current with technological advancements in CAD/CAM dentistry, dental design software, and laboratory equipment to improve workflow efficiency.

Skill

  • Proficiency in Exocad or similar dental CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for digital restoration design.
  • Laboratory experience with a focus on crown and bridge fabrication processes.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion principles, and aesthetic considerations for restorative dentistry.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry, including digital scans and impressions.
  • Ability to interpret dental terminology accurately for effective communication with clinical teams.
  • Understanding of infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and aseptic techniques relevant to dental laboratories.
  • Excellent attention to detail with skills in using precision measurement tools like micrometers for quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and general healthcare practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and craftsmanship.
