Full Job Description

Our family-owned SUD treatment program is growing and we’re seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant that is passionate about working with people seeking recovery.

Ethos Recovery Clinic provides integrated services for individuals seeking relief from opioid use. We utilize approved medication-assisted therapies and harm reduction approaches combined with behavioral change therapies to achieve the individualized goals of those we serve. We offer a casual, supportive, team-oriented work environment with competitive salaries.

Our Nurse Practitioner/Physician assistant will provide medical services to clients. Experience in MAT/harm reduction setting is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

1. Responsible for providing medical services to Ethos Recovery Clinic clients.

2. Responsible for completing medical evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.

3. Responsible for ongoing medical treatment of clients including signing or countersigning medical orders and documentation required by state and federal regulations.

4. Responsible for completing all medical charting and care plans for patients.

5. Prescribe and provide medication management for all patients.

6. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

o Advanced nursing degree and license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

o Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Minnesota

o Prefer previous experience in Medication Assisted Treatment

o Prefer previous experience in behavioral health/Psych, Addiction Medicine, and/or Internal Medicine

o Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working

o No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

o Must possess the ability to communicate with others in a clear, understandable and professional manner on the phone, through telemedicine and in person; and the demonstrated use of good written and verbal skills.

o Must possess the ability to be flexible and adapt to change.

o Must be able to pass Minnesota DHS background study.
