Advanced Practice Provider Division: Student Affairs, Equity and Belonging Department/Office: Health & Wellness Center Position Summary Information Advertisement: The Health & Wellness Center at St. Catherine University invites applications for a part-time Advanced Practice Provider position. The Advanced Practice Provider ( APP ) in the Health and Wellness Clinic provides comprehensive, high-quality, patient-centered primary care to St. Catherine University students. The APP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of acute, chronic, recurrent, womens health, and mental health conditions within the scope of practice of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The APP provides preventive care, health education, and wellness services while collaborating with campus and community resources to support the overall health and well-being of students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, womens health and preventive care; management of acute and chronic health conditions; evaluation and treatment of mental health concerns, including prescribing medications when appropriate and collaborating with the Counseling Center; ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing; patient education; and accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. The APP will also contribute to the overall operations and success of the Health and Wellness Clinic through collaboration with clinic staff, participation in quality improvement and program development, and completion of administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Director. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; a commitment to evidence-based, equitable, and patient-centered care; and the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and campus partners. The APP will actively contribute to the mission of St. Catherine University and its commitment to supporting the academic success, health, and well-being of its students. This is a .5 FTE exempt position . Although the position is classified as .5 FTE for the year , the employee will work 32 hours per week during the academic year . The specific work dates will be determined each year in conjunction with the supervisor based on the Universitys academic calendar . The employee will not have scheduled work during the summer months but will remain employed and continue to receive their regular salary throughout the year, including during the summer . Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies, or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (or rationale for acceptance of other than the minimum required graduate credential) Licensed PA or NP in the State of Minnesota Current NCCPA or CNP certification Knowledge of current clinical practice Graduation from a certified, accredited PA or NP program of study Current DEA number Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Adolescent Medicine background Preferred Qualifications: Basic computer skills and knowledge of information technology Previous experience in womens health or a college health care setting preferred Previous experience in mental health preferred EEO Statement: Compensation: Annual wage is $44,063 $61,705 depending on qualifications and experience. This is a part-time ( 0.50 FTE ) position. Employees working .50 1.0 FTE are eligible to accrue sick time prorated based on their FTE status if less than a 1.0 FTE . The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
