We’re Hiring: Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse – GI
About the Role:
Do you geek out over gut health? Do endoscopies, capsule studies, and complex GI cases spark your clinical curiosity? If you’re a highly skilled, motivated Nurse Practitioner who’s passionate about all things GI, we want you on our team!
As our Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse – GI, you’ll work alongside top-tier gastroenterologists and a dynamic care team to deliver advanced, compassionate care to patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and follow patients using your expertise—and even assist in procedures under physician supervision. In short: You’ll be a GI game-changer.
What You’ll Do:

Be a clinical leader in GI care—manage patients with GI dysfunction and disease across inpatient and/or outpatient settings

Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create and carry out treatment plans
-
Perform assessments, order diagnostics, and initiate evidence-based interventions
-
Assist with or perform specific diagnostic/interventional GI procedures (with supervision)

Provide education and support to patients and families
-
Help shape and elevate the standard of GI care in our organization
What You Bring:
-
MSN from an accredited nursing program
-
Active RN license in Missouri
-
Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC, AANP, etc.)
-
Missouri certification for Advanced Practice (if required)
-
Current Collaborative Practice Agreement
-
BCLS certification
-
Clinical expertise in GI or a strong interest in developing it
-
3–5 years of hands-on nursing experience
-
Leadership chops and the ability to thrive in a team

3–5 years of gastroenterology-specific experience

Advanced education in GI diseases, treatments, and patient management

Experience in endoscopy, colonoscopy, or other GI procedures
