- As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department’s facilities include:
o A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU o 30-bed Neurosciences ICU o AANEM Lab Accreditation with Exemplary Status o Level IV Epilepsy program o Comprehensive Stroke Center o MDA/ALS clinics o An accredited Sleep Program o First Adult Certified Duchenne Care Center by PPMD. Qualifications: Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
Specialty certificate by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
